Works well January 30, 2010 T. Lashley 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My husband is a coach and I ordered this chute for him and his athletes. He likes the wind resistance it provides, and the quality material that it is made of. He also says it is strong. It does what it is advertised to do. Great product!
speed training parachute January 21, 2010 C. Shields (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The item was purchased for my 12 year old son who plays most sports and he is pleased with the training and the product seems to be durable enough to handle the activity.
Size makes it tough, but that's the point March 9, 2010 Michael Hussle (Baltimore, Maryland) The large size of this parachute makes it tough to get it all the way in the air. But there's a solution: run faster. That's the point of these things- you need to get up to x speed before the thing will go airborne, and then it provides resistance while you continue to do that.
So this parachute is a step up, and is probably not a good size for a beginner. I stepped up from a smaller one, and I'm still getting used to it, but it's a great challenge and it's strengthening my running.
No complaints so far.
A bit hard to get in the air November 4, 2009 Sue in VA (Northern VA, USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this so my baseball fanatic kids could do some speed drills. You're supposed to run in short bursts but it was hard to get the parachute to catch enough air to make a difference before the end of their sprint. I tried it myself and couldn't feel much of a difference. Maybe I expected too much or just aren't doing it right.
Disappointed July 1, 2010 poolman 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Save your money. I bought the 56" model and can BARELY feel any resistance!
